February is National Children’s Dental Health Month

During the month of February, the American Dental Association celebrates National Children’s Dental Health Month. This month-long national health observance reinforces the importance of oral health in children as well as helping parents with tips to keep their child’s smile on track.

Dr. Julia Pesavento, DMD had the privilege of speaking with the 1st and 2nd grade class at All Saints Catholic Academy on February 8th to promote the benefits of good oral hygiene, tips for developing good dental health habits, including regular dental visits, to help the children get a jump start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.

Their teacher, Mrs. Mindy Whalen gathered all the children together to get their photo taken with Dr. Pesavento.
